Joint Candidate Forum – Third District City Council

3rd District City Council Joint Candidate Forum: hosted by the Brooklyn Business Association (BBA) and Brooklyn Action Corps (BAC). This event combines the neighborhood and business associations, and we look forward to hearing the candidate ideas and vision for a thriving community.

Topics covered will include (but not be limited to):
– Community safety – including the People’s Depot proposal and its impact on both the canning community and the neighborhood
– The new Central Eastside rezoning project and its impact on livability
– Willamette River access, which has been promised but not delivered
– Strategies to revitalize (and repave) Milwaukie Avenue as a thriving commercial zone

We are inviting all candidates for District 3 and expect most candidates will attend.
