Now, it finally has a name that honors the community it serves!
Join us as we celebrate the official designation of Portland’s own Brooklyn Bridge – a simple bridge with a big neighborhood identity.
Enjoy community gathering, photos, local history, and the unveiling of the new bridge name!
🎉 Event Schedule
- 3:00 PM: Neighborhood Gathering – Music and community booths open at the West End.
- 3:30 PM: Official Dedication – Ribbon cutting ceremony with city leaders.
- 4:00 PM: The Inaugural Walk – We walk the bridge as a community!
- 4:30 PM: Golden Hour Social – Train spotting, photo ops, and neighborhood treats.
- 5:00 PM: Closing Remarks
